The Knotty Pine House was created from a deeply personal understanding of what families need when caring for an aging loved one. Our family has experienced the challenges that can come with large care facilities, including staffing shortages and the difficulty of providing the level of personal attention every resident deserves.

Our vision is different. The Knotty Pine House is a small assisted living and memory care home designed for just five residents. By keeping our home intentionally small, we can create a more personal, peaceful and familiar environment where residents are known, cared for and treated with dignity and respect.

This vision is also rooted in experience. Our family has a background in hospice and home care, including experience working with individuals living with dementia and supporting families through some of life’s most important and difficult moments. The Knotty Pine House brings that compassion into a home-style setting in Orange, Texas.
